Adven's Writing Atelier

All commissions will be written in English.

Clients will be expected to provide as many details as possible on the desired result and any requests on the commission's content. This may include but is not limited to: Story Concept, General Concept, Character Concept (appearance and personality included), Pairings/Relationships (if any), Character Dynamics, Setting, etc.

I am open for discussions and brainstorming if the Client does not have a complete/finalized idea yet.

I reserve the right to refuse to work on a commission if the content includes themes and/or topics I am uncomfortable with or if I think I do not have the capacity to write it.

The final length of the commission will be calculated using the “Word Count” feature in Google Docs.

Should the finished commission exceeds the agreed length of my own volition, the Client will not be charged any extra fee.

All Clients from outside Indonesia must refer to the USD rate. IDR rate only applies to Indonesian Clients.

Payments from overseas Clients will be made via PayPal or Payoneer. Payments from Indonesian Clients will be made via Bank Transfer (BCA), GO-PAY, OVO, or Shopee Pay.

All costs incurred, including transaction fees, platform fees, conversion fees, and any other fees that may be charged by the bank/card providers, will be the Clients’ responsibility.

Clients will be required to make at least a 50% Down Payment before the commission is written. The rest of the payment will be required after the commission is completed before the finished work is shared with the Clients.

There will be NO REFUND once the Down Payment has been made UNLESS I am incapable of delivering the commissioned work due to Force Majeure and/or other reasons that will be communicated with the Client.

Should there be a change/adjustment in the published Commission Rate, an announcement will be made on my Social Media accounts. Commissions in progress will not be affected by the rate change.

Clients must clearly state the purpose of the commission at the beginning of the discussion, whether it is for commercial or non-commercial use, in order to determine which rate to use.

If it is discovered that a Client is using a non-commercial commission for commercial purposes, they will be blacklisted from all of my future commissions and I will make a public notice on my Social Media for awareness.

Should any issues arise regarding a commission, Clients must first discuss it with me before opening a case with the payment service provider and making a public statement. Failure to do so will result in the Client being blacklisted from all of my future commissions.

I will accept a maximum of 2 (two) minor revisions after sharing the finished commission with the Client. Minor revisions include adding/deleting small details, adding/deleting small parts of dialogues, changing the character’s speaking tone or gesture, and other minor details that do not require one or more scenes to be rewritten.

Clients MUST NOT request major changes to the story midway through the writing process.

Any major revisions requested upon the completion of the commission will be charged according to how many extra words are added to the story due to the requested revisions. Major revisions include changing the overall concept, plot, setting, characters involved in the story, characters’ relationships, and other major details that require one or more scenes to be rewritten.

Accepted commissions will be written on a “first come, first serve” basis as soon as the Clients have made a minimum of 50% Down Payment.

Writing duration will vary depending on the length of the commissions: A 1,000-word commission is estimated to be completed within 2-3 working days. A 5,000-word commission is estimated to be completed within 7 working days. A 10,000-word commission is estimated to be completed within 14 working days.

The Client will be informed immediately if additional time is required to finish the commission.

A weekly update on the writing progress will be provided to the Clients.

The final Word Count will be presented to the Client as proof that I have completed the commission. The finished work will be shared with the Client as soon as Full Payment has been made.

The commission will be provided to the Client in the form of Google Docs. The Client may request a PDF or Ms. Word version of the finished commission.

Clients are free to decide whether the commissions are to be published or kept privately.

For Non-Commercial Commissions, Clients can repost, translate, and reproduce the commissions by crediting me as the writer as long as it is for personal and non-profit use. In return, I can use the commission as a sample of my work and portfolio by mentioning the Client as the commissioner, unless the Client wishes to remain anonymous.

Fan Fiction will be posted on my Archive on Our Own (AO3) under the pseudonym "AkatsukiShin" and on Wattpad under the pseudonym "Akatsuki Shin" (@Akatsuki_Shin04).

Neither I nor the Client can use non-commercial commissions to gain profit in any way. If it is discovered that the Client is using a non-commercial commission for commercial purposes, they will be blacklisted from all of my future commissions. I will also make a public notice on my Social Media for awareness.

For Commercial Commissions, the Client can repost, translate, and reproduce the commissions. Credits will be appreciated but not obligatory. I will ask for the Client's permission if I wish to use the commission as a sample of my work and portfolio.
